Fair Food Night

Simon’s Store on Route 2A in St. George is having a fair food night, making all of your favorites from the fair like fried bread dough, Italian sausages, fried tacos, candy apples, caramel apples and more.

Back to School Children’s Clothing and Book Swap

4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. | Behind Hinesburg Town Hall on the soccer field

Rain date: Sunday, August 2nd from 4-5:30pm.

 

This popular free event is for anyone seeking children’s clothing and books. To ensure another successful swap please note that we accept all gently-used children’s clothing, sized infant to 14, and children’s books, toddler to middle-school level. Drop off clothing and books behind Hinesburg Town Hall under the covered ramp on Friday, July 31st from 12-8pm. No toys, and no drop-offs on the day of the swap. Masks and social distancing required.

Annual Vermont Organics Recycling Summit (VORS): Virtual Webinar Series

August 3-August 6 | Online

VORS provides a statewide forum to think boldly, learn, and network about transforming food waste and other organic materials into valuable products. This year’s Summit will include sessions on the use of compost products for storm water management, organics hauling, research, and outreach models to help communities and residents meet the State’s organics diversion, food rescue, and food scrap recycling goals.
